Woke up with Rs1000 note !!!

Friends, life give you so many opportunities to experience fun that it sometimes become unbearable for us.One Fine morning i experienced something very incredible which i can't resist writing.

I share my apartment with two other guys. There are many things which we share but brotherhood is one of those hood which we talk about every time wherever site of a hot girl is thrown in front of our eyes.

Now there is some competition in life which we consciously don't realize to be competing but it exist, one of such competition is among our close flatmate was "Who among us can sleep late in morning and still reach office on time?"

In my hunt to win this and beat my opponent one day i woke when there was just enough time for me to get ready and reach office on 9:29. I got ready in hurry , reached downstairs through my dark staircase, buttoning my shirt on road. By the time I stood on side of road waiting for auto i realized, in my hurry and strong determination to win i had forgot to collect change from my desk. There was not enough time to go back and get them instead i decided to try my luck in ATM machine. I swiped my card type Rs 300 when withdrawal screen came in front of my eyes, my eyes could not believe the writing on screen" Enter in multiple of 1000". I had no other option other than to enter Rs1000 and hence now i was proud owner of Rs 1000 , one single, straight, ironed warm Rs 1000 note.

Again I was standing with Rs 1000 note to catch auto which charged Rs 5 for journey as it was a shared auto. Half hearted i told autowala that i don't have change and only had 1000 note. In his usual tone he took it casually and among crowd he said HO JAYEGA. I sat and reached destination and proudly extended 1000 note, he looked at me and said no change. I gave my reason, he gave his and at end i searched my wallet to find a torn Rs 5 note. i gave that and he took it as both knew that there was no other option. My tension wasn't to end there as i had to take a rickshaw who would charge me Rs 15 and this time there was no miracle to happen and i wasn't expecting Rs 15 to be found in my wallet. Again same exchange of words but no one was convenience and i was left with no other option so i needed Rs 15 as change badly.
There were some small panwala shop, i approached them for change and early morning they gave me a look which we usually gave to beggar. One thing is clear in country obsessed with change carrying a Rs1000 note is being a beggar. A small mobile recharge shop came to my rescue only when i promised to get my mobile top up even when i didn't needed those, but anyway now i had change of Rs 1000 and happy specially for Rs15.

This is really fascinating funny experience of mine. If you ever happen to be on public buses without change, they don't treat you with respect. A person carrying change gets all accord and respect in world of aam aadmi(Common Public).

Sometimes I wonder where all this coins have gone. I still remember my childhood when some friends and me use to play with square shaped 5 paise coin. There were denominational of 5,10,20,25,50 paise. 20 paise coin was a hexagonal shaped and bigger than others, we dumb use to think it as more valuable than 25 or 50 paise coin. Then came Rs 2 coin followed by Rs5 and Rs 10 coin. They are there but still can't fulfill the place of 25 paise.
Today we almost give extra 10 paise to store on each transaction due to non availability of 90 paise(Suppose something cost Rs 19.90, but we pay Rs 20 because there is no 90 paise, this how we give extra 10 paise). Suppose we make 20 such transaction in a week it amounts to 200 paise which is Rs 2 a week, Rs 8 a month and Rs 72 a year. This is the most optimistic calculation as most time we give 60 to 50 paise extra. Now if we apply same logic with 50 paise , then for 20 such transaction we give 1000 paise or Rs 10 pr week, Rs 40 per month and Rs 480 per year. This might not seem a problem but still a small calculation reveals a lot.

This is all just because we don't have our child days small, cute coins.
